How to find your keywords
Here is a method how you will be able to find good keywords
and keyword phrases.
Go to overture keyword research tool and type in a broad search term.
Lets do an example with the search term “stamp collecting”
The results came up like this.
We are looking for a term that would be searched more than 1000 times
per month to make it worthwhile for us. Lets take the phrase "postage
stamp collecting"
Now we need to go check what the competition is like. Firstly we will
do a search with our keyword phrase using "allintitle:"
It turns up 12,400 pages containing the phrase in the title
Next we will do some page rank checks. The number one ranked page has
a PR 4.
The number nine page has a PR 2
This means if we do some good page optimization we will be able to
compete for this key phrase.
Now we will check sites containing that key phrase. First open all
the pages in your google search so they all change colour, you want
to know where these pages rank in the following searches.
Type in "postage stamp collecting"
Look at the purple colored pages, those are the same ones that came
from the "allintitle:" search
Next we just search the key phrase
Again two pages from our "allintitle" search are there. This
is good news. If you can get a high ranking in the "allintiltle"
search you will be able to rank in the main phrase only search.
This is the process you should follow for all your keywords, if you
choose your keywords wrong you will just be wasting time creating the
page, because it will never be seen.
This does take a lot of time and if you want to research a thousand
words you will be busy for a few days.
There is software available which can automate this task and make your
search time much quicker.

First we type in the search term that we did in overture and set the
slider to how many results we would like.
Second we copy all the keywords it found into keyword elite's project
